Welcome to ILLUMINATIONS which began back in the 1990s as a series of watercolour pastiches illustrating stories from Gloucestershire local history painted in the style of medieval illuminated manuscripts. Since then I have extended the scope of my subject matter to include the historic and the modern, the familiar and the obscure, the pious and the secular, the scholarly and the whimsical.
